DTM championship organizers revealed that Race of Champions style event will be presented in Munich’s Olympic Stadium in July 2011.
The whole DTM field will take part to this knockout event on a two-lane track. The race will include three laps, then a pit stop, to finish with three last laps. A qualifying event will be presented on Saturday, while the race proper will be ran on Sunday.
This special event in the DTM calendar could count for championship points in the future.
