Three Audi drivers finished on top of the time sheet today at the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans in preparation for the next round of the DTM series. Tom Kristensen was the fastest, followed by teammate and series leader, Timo Scheider, and Martin Tomczyk.
The best of the Mercedes Benz drivers was Paul di Resta, still in the battle for the championship, with 4th followed by fellow AMG partners Jamie Green in sixth, Bernd Schneider in 9th and Canadian Bruno Spengler, who had the third time in the morning, at a distant 14th place.
The track was very slippery in the morning and that why the best time clocked in the morning was over 1.2 seconds slower than the one set in the afternoon.
