The countdown for the 2009 DTM series starts with the year's first official DTM, three-day test at circuit Dijon-Prenois in France.
From Tuesday to Thursday (April 14 to 16) the Audi Sport Teams Abt Sportsline, Phoenix and Rosberg test on the French race track at Dijon-Prenois on which a DTM race is held for the first time this year.
The 2009 Audi A4 DTM (R14 plus) will meet the latest C-Class from Mercedes-Benz entered by HWA and private teams for the first time.
Canadian race car driver Bruno Spengler, member of the works Mercedes-Benz squadron, will be driving the new C-Class car.
Additional official test days will be held between April 27 and 30 at the Hockenheimring before the 2009 season starts at Hockenheim on May 17.
