One year ago, Jaime Alguesuari was about to joint BMW in the DTM, but the Spaniard was eventually not chosen in favour of another former F1 driver, Timo Glock.

The newly crowned Euro F3 champion, Raffaele Marciello is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy and will also test a Mercedes DTM car. Sweden’s Felix Rosenqvist, second in that same series will also be tested.
