Despite what was expected a few months ago, the German touring car series DTM will not make a much-expected return to Austria's A1-Ring in 2009. The championship had held rounds in Austria between 2001 and 2003.
The only significant change to the 2009 calendar is that Oschersleben, which hosted round two of the 2008 season, has been moved back to the end of the six-week summer break, on July 19.
