Tesla to launch autonomous car by 2016?
Tesla CEO Elon Musk told the Financial Times he hopes to put a self-driving car on the road within three years, well before other manufacturers. "We should be able to do 90% of miles driven within three years," he announced, meaning that drivers would only have to grab the wheel 10% of the time.
