Peugeot's high command opted to keep their race boss Olivier Quesnel.
"Olivier Quesnel will remain with us as head of Peugeot Sport," they announced in a press release.
The same release served as a reminder of Quesnel's achievements with the french manufacturer, since creating Peugeot Talbot Sport with fellow countryman Jean Todt in 1980. Among others, he won twice the ILMC title (2010 and 2011), as well as winning the 24 hours of Le Mans once (2009).
In 2012, Quesnel will be given a chance to focus on his endurance commitments to the World Endurance Championship (WEC). He was replaced not long ago by Belgian Yves Matton as head of Citroën Racing. Rallying, Quesnel amassed 36 wins and 4 titles in WRC competition.
