Tony Fernandes' Team Lotus team will soon be renamed Caterham, and a new logo has been unveiled.
The Malaysian team made its debut last year and raced as Team Lotus in 2011 but, after a long legal battle over its name, it will be renamed Caterham in 2012, with the current Renault team becoming Lotus.
Last summer, Fernandes purchased Caterham - the small British sport car constructor – as well as the trademarked name.
With the Caterham Group and all of its subsidiaries now a full part of Fernandes' F1 setup (including Caterham Composites), the team will effectively be entering its third new era in as many years.
Note that the new logo has retained the famous British green and yellow colours of the original Lotus F1 race team.
