Due to heavy snowfall at Maranello, the Italian team as decided to cancel the official presentation ceremony of the new car.

We reported earlier that the scheduled track debut of the new car could be unlikely. This is now official, there will be no event at the Fiorano track.

The snow continued to fall on Maranello and the surrounding area. The Forecast predicts more snow and a further drop of the temperature. Ferrari has judged it won't be secure to move hundreds of people on those roads.

The official statement says: "Therefore, the decision has been taken to cancel the presentation ceremony for the new car, which was to have taken place at 10.30 tomorrow. The decision was taken because of the weather conditions and because of the difficulties that would have faced the 300 or so people due to attend from the team partners, the authorities and representatives of the media in their attempts to get to Maranello."

Ferrari will instead reveal photos and technical information related to the car on its website. Some exclusive interviews will be available as well.
