Luca Baldisseri, head of the Ferrari Driver Academy, has announced Force India reserve driver Jules Bianchi was still part of his plans.

"It's important for our project that Jules reaches his goal," Baldisseri is quoted saying by ESPNF1.com.

"The objective is to give him a future in Formula One as a Ferrari driver."

For the moment, Bianchi is still waiting on Force India to decide whether he or Adrian Sutil will replace Nico Hulkenberg in the second race seat, alongside Paul di Resta.

The 23-year-old from Nice has been part of the FDA since 2010. Last year, he finished second in the Formula Renault 3.5 championship.
