A principal of the prospective American F1 team entry has revealed that the first test car could be up and running as early as November.
American engineer Ken Anderson, in partnership with British broadcaster Peter Windsor, said the 2010 single seater is currently being designed by computer.
"At the time of the (entry list) closing around June 12 we will start to produce parts, as the (manufacturing) machines will be delivered by then," Anderson told F1's official website.
Wind tunnel testing will then begin in late September. "Depending on the (make of) engine, we will be running the car in the first week of January.
"But if all falls perfectly into place, we would like the car to be running in November/December," added Anderson.
He also revealed that the team headcount is currently 20 but set to grow, while a European base will be set up to compliment the US headquarters towards the end of the year.
Anderson and Windsor also made clear that their plans do not hinge on the outcome of the 'budget cap' row.
