The moment the car is backed inside the garage, the mechanics gather around it and everyone has a very precise task to do. Looking at the tiny Mercedes V8 engine, one wonders how it is cooled properly as it is surrounded by several impressive heat shields.

The radiators, located inside the sidepods, are remarkable. They are man-made to fit perfectly the shape of the sidepod, meaning that they are not square but triangular. A true work of art.
And when the session is ended, the car is partially dismantled in less than five minutes. The mechanics search for leaks, inspect all stressed component, change the carbon brake discs and pads, take sample of the fuel and oil inside the engine, take the floor off and drain the fuel tank. Mighty impressive to watch.
Less than 90 minutes later, both cars were back on the track, as if they were new!
