Norbert Haug has revealed that Mercedes-Benz wants to confirm at Monza in two weeks its customer engine plans for the 2010 season.

The news ties in with Christian Horner's earlier comments at Spa that "within the next couple of weeks" Red Bull will "hone in on a decision" about whether to switch from Renault power.

It is believed Red Bull is set to join existing Mercedes customers Brawn and Force India, but the move will require FIA dispensation so that a fourth team can feature the same engine.

However, there has been rumblings about Force India of late, including the team's growing tendency to miss its deadlines for supplier payments.

Haug didn't want to talk. "We have signed a confidentiality agreement so I cannot say anything," the German told Auto Motor und Sport when asked about the engine situation.

"I do hope that that we can announce the package (for 2010) at Monza," he revealed.
