F1: Nico Rosberg goes quickest in Bahrain in-season test

Formula 1 teams and drivers were back in action two days after the Grand Prix of Bahrain for the first 2014 in–season test.

At the end of the day, Nico Rosberg, second in Sunday’s race, set the pace today with a time of 1m35.697. The German completed 121 laps, the equivalent of two race distances in his W05.

Sahara Force India took today second place on the 11-car timesheet with Nico Hulkenberg ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso, whose F14 T stopped on track in the morning.

McLaren rookie Kevin Magnussen finished fourth ahead of Valtteri Bottas of Williams, Max Chilton of Marussia and Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing.

Russian rookie Sergey Sirotkin completed more than 300 km in the Sauber, which is a requirement to receive the super licence.
