Pirelli will introduce its PZero Medium tire with a white band in Valencia this weekend.
The urban track of Valencia will put the tires to the test with many direction changes -- the most this season with 25 turns -- that will require a lot of traction and braking and give few grip in the turns.
The track is only used once a year and is expected to need some laps reaching optimal condition in Spanish heat. This also means conditions will be constantly changing.
The PZero Medium tire is expected to wear faster than the harder compounds seen earlier this season. It is however also expected to be faster. The tires were tested on Friday practice in Montreal.
The teams will also have the yellow PZero soft tire in option in Spain, a tire they got used to as it has always been the option tire since the beginning of the season.
