Sébastien Buemi (Toro Rosso-Ferrari) set again the fastest time of the day at the Algarve Motor Park in Portimao, Portugal, beating the Toyota-powered Williams of Nico Rosberg.

Mugello (Italy)
Scuderia Ferrari - Felipe Massa
The weather was slightly better than on previous days, but the track remained damp throughout, preventing the use of slick tyres.
In total, Felipe completed 104 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.33.353.

Valencia (Spain)
BMW-Sauber - Robert Kubica
Test kilometres today: 397 km (99 laps)
Robert Kubica completed 99 laps as well as conducting several race start simulations. In the morning, he deliberately stopped on the track when he carried out a so-called fuel run-out, a standard procedure with every new F1 car.

Swiss driver Sébastien Buemi topped this week's testing at Portimao, Portugal for the third consecutive day. Buemi set his best lap in the last minute of Wednesday's running. The Scuderia Toro Rosso was once again the only team running a modified 2008-spec car and Buemi's best time was nearly two seconds quicker than second-placed Nico Rosberg.

Lewis Hamilton (photo) returned to the cockpit for his first taste of the 2009 regulations and the team's new MP4-24 car. While the weather was markedly improved over the previous two days, the morning remained damp, requiring the continued use of an '08-spec rear wing and intermediate tyres.
