Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel dominated yet another race, in the night of the Marina Bay street circuit of Singapore.

Future teammates Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) and Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) sliced through the opposition from seventh and 13th respectively to join Vettel on the podium.

Mercedes' Nico Rosberg gave the German an early run for his money, having started beside him on the front row. But his hopes of a third win this season eventually faded away after the intervention of the safety car, midway though the race, to clean Daniel Ricciardo's (Toro Rosso) crash.

Rosberg reached the finish in fourth place, followed by his teammate Lewis Hamilton, as both benefitted from Mark Webber (Red Bull) last lap failure.

Romain Grosjean (Lotus) performed strongly, but was also let down by his car. Pneumatic problems forced him into retirement on lap 37.

Mexican Sergio Perez (McLaren) fought back from 14th on the grid to finish eighth, right behind his teammate Jenson Button, and followed closely by Nico Hulkenberg (Sauber) and Adrian Sutil (Force India), who picks up the last points of the day.
