According to British magazine Autosport, the AT&T Williams Formula 1 team have focused their efforts in the design of the 2011 car.

The Cosworth-powered FW32 has been pretty good in recent races, and the car will receive with its final major aero upgrade package for 2010, having been approved by the recent tests performed in the wind tunnel.

Sam Michael, the technical director of the Williams team revealed to Autosport that the new parts for Singapore Grand Prix were now out of the wind tunnel and being readied.

The Austalian added: "In terms of the design priority though, from an aero point of view we are focused on next year now."

It is a wise move for the Williams team as several rules will change next year. First of all, the infamous double diffusers and F-ducts will be banned, the tires will be supplied by Pirelli and not by Bridgestone, and the FIA will allow for the use of KERS, the Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems.

Sam Michael indicated there would be little carry over from this year's design.

"It is a completely different car - it will be a clean sheet for everybody," Michael said, adding that the British team is still undecided if they would race races with a battery or a flywheel KERS system next season.
