Mihai Marinescu and Christopher Zanella won both Formula 2 rounds presented at the Nürburgring.

Marinescu, who started from pole position, led from start to finish, and ended the Luciano Bacheta’s winning streak, after the Brit won all four races so far. Bacheta, who started from outside front row, could not challenge Marinescu on Saturday. Christopher Zanella had a great catch up, as he secured the third position from his 7th position on the grid.

In race 2, it was Zanella’s turn to start from pole position, but the Swiss driver lost the lead on the first lap to Mihai Marinescu, winner on Saturday. Both drivers pulled away in front, and Zanella made the move to take the lead back four laps to the end, and clinched victory ahead of 15-year-old Matheo Tuscher. Christopher Zanella took sixth position, and remained championship leader by far.
