After claiming victory at the 2011 Macao Grand Prix - the other great F3 classic event - Juncadella was again victorious at Zandvoort on Sunday. Last year, he was forced to retired after he made contact at the start of the race with his teammate Roberto Mehri.

The Prema driver started from pole position, alongside fellow countryman Carlo Sainz Jr. But Sainz had a poor start, which allowed Juncadella’s teammate Raffaele Marciello to move up to second.

Juncadella and Marciello captured a one-two finish for team Prema, while local heroe Hannes Van Asseldonk took third place. Juncadella became the first Spaniard to win the F3 Masters.
