Each meeting of the Formula 3 Euroseries will stage three races instead of two starting next year.

Organisers of the F3 Euroseries unveiled several changes to their racing format in the future.

After two free practice sessions of 60 minutes each, and 30 minutes of qualifying, a 40-minute race will be ran on Saturday, which starting positions will be determinate by the second best lap time of each driver in qualifying.

Race positions will decide the starting order for a following 20-minute race in the afternoon (reverse grid for top 8).

Finally, a third race will be presented on Sunday, with starting positions corresponding to best lap time in qualifying. Are you following us?

The top 3 Euroseries drivers in the final standings will be rewarded by a test in a World Series Renault Formula 3.5 car.

Moreover, the two best-placed Mercedes drivers will have the opportunity to test a DTM Mercedes car. The two best Volkswagen drivers will also have a test in an Audi DTM.

Finally, the F3 Euroseries will now stage races outside the traditional DTM meetings. The F3 series will hold rounds at Le Castellet HTTT and Silverstone during two Le Mans Series’ meetings.
