11:45 AM - Ferrari introduced their new F430 and 575 Superamerica in a North American first. Both will be made available in March 2005.

The F430 replaces the current F360 and is powered by a 490-horsepower 4.3-litre V8. The new "entry" level Ferrari is treated to a slew of Ferrari family styling cues. Of which, the Enzo inspired taillights are the most obvious.

The 575 Superamerica features a rotating convertible glass top that is the world's fastest to open (10 seconds to be exact). The glass section has a novel 5-position light-to-dark transparency setting. The Superamerica is powered by a 540-horsepower, 5.0-litre V12 and is said to be the fastest-production convertible on the market. It will also be very exclusive, as a run of only 559 will be produced.

The 612 Scaglietti, introduced last, carries on unchanged for 2005.

Maserati is celebrating their 90th anniversary in 2005. To mark the event, they have introduced a limited version of the Spyder painted Anniversary Blue. A series of aerodynamic add-ons further distinguish the 90th from the regular Spyder and Spyder GT.

Maserati, they saw their sales figures rise by 17% in 2004 compared to the year before, thanks to the addition of the Gransport and Quattroporte models.
