Following the successful Fiat 500 1957 Edition introduced last year, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) is launching a soft-top version. While the press release isn't explicit about Canadian availability, it's safe to assume we will see the 1957 Edition Cabrio north of the border due to the popularity of the 500.

The limited-production model will start at $24,700 in the U.S., which is about $2,000 more than a Fiat 500c Lounge. FCA is taking orders now and deliveries will begin later this spring.

With just the push of a button, the Fiat 500c 1957 Edition’s power-operated cloth top retracts up to the rear spoiler at speeds of up to 60 mph (96 km/h). Press the roof button again, and it will neatly fold behind the rear head restraints when driving at up to 50 mph (80 km/h).

The 2015 Fiat 500c 1957 Edition also features a sport suspension, body-coloured 16” forged aluminum wheels, and two-tone leather surfaces in brown and ivory. Just like the hatchback, it comes in three colours including white, light blue, and light green.
