The all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is the star of a new virtual-reality short film from Ford, available through the company’s FordVR application.
Born to Baja gives viewers a close-up look of the new Raptor, from the assembly line all the way to the finish line of the celebrated endurance race. A production version of the high-performance Ford truck – identical to the one available at Ford dealerships – completed the grueling event in November 2016.
The film is narrated by American actor and Ford brand ambassador Denis Leary.
“The race’s exotic setting and exciting visual elements made it a perfect fit for our FordVR app,” explained Darci Gurney, Ford Motor Company’s Digital Marketing Manager. “Our virtual reality platform allows us to tell dramatic and impactful stories, showing the surprising side of the Ford brand.”
