On top of beating our side of the pond to the advanced chassis technology world by a decade, the Fiesta was also available in a number of special high-performance variants, too. These included the Fiesta ST and XR4, which got about 150 horsepower. The Fiesta Zetec S and Fiesta RS were highly drooled-upon by sports car fans as well. A rich history in motorsports was part of the package.
