Got illegal cargo to transport?
The MDW or Mexican Drug War is now 4 1/2 years old, and the drug cartels are always looking to get a leg up on the competition.

Fighting for regional control of territory, and for control of trafficking routes into the US, is constantly escalating. Having and/or building the right equipment for the war is a matter of life and death.

Exhibit A: The Ford "narco-tank". This highly armoured, seemingly handmade, vehicle was found in a rural area by police in the west Mexico state of Jalisco.

Special features included on the "narco-tank" are a front bumper-mounted battering ram and a fully metal-plate sealed cargo box complete with gun ports and a turret. The reasons for its abandon are not given. A mechanical breakdown could be a reason.

We here think that Ford could make a killing (no pun intended) by producing these vehicles. We've already thought of the name as stated in the title of this story. With a minimal $100,000 price tag, it would be a steal for cartels especially given that it would be fully warrantied and include roadside assistance.
