To reach a different performance level, Focus S2 uses the same springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars as the European Focus ZX3, which O'Connor says offer more aggressive handling, feel, stability and grip.
Power for Focus S2 comes from the 2.0L DOHC Zetec I-4 that delivers 130 horsepower and pound-feet of torque.
There will be a limited number of Focus S2 models built, and Ford of Canada will announce pricing closer to production time.
