Alex Brundle is the latest driver to confirm his participation in the 2009 FIA Formula Two Championship.
Brundle - son of former F1 driver and BBC commentator Martin - joins after graduating from the Formula Palmer Audi championship. In his second season of FPA, Brundle scored three podiums on his way to taking sixth overall in the 2008 standings. He also claimed a pole position on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix .
As 2008 draws to a close, Brundle becomes the tenth driver to be announced so far in what is set to be an oversubscribed 24-car F2 grid, when the championship gets underway next May.
