The Formula 2 championship will no longer stage races alongside the WTCC next year, and will host eight rounds.
The F2 races will be held on six current Formula 1 circuits (Silverstone, Spa, Nürburgring, Monza and Barcelone) as well as other tracks such as Brands Hatch, Magny-Cours and Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Motorsport Vision, F2 championship’s promoter, left the WTCC championship after a disagreement with their organizers and after Eurosport decided to stop broadcasting their races.
