Quebec drivers Maxime Pelletier and Mikaƫl Grenier finished respectively second and third on today's first race at Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Ricardo Favoretto won from pole in 26:41.110 minutes. He was followed really close by Pelletier (0.053 second) and Grenier (0.449).

An excellent result for the Quebec competitors who will be willing to do even better tomorrow morning for race two. Pelletier will certainly be going for the win and Grenier's goal will be to pursue his podium collection in his first open-wheel season.
