Formula BMW : Rossi still on top in Monterey, Pelletier 6th

Driver Alexander Rossi got the pole of Formula BMW Americas' second round, held in Monterey, California, this week-end.

With a time of 1:27.678, he was followed by only 34 tenths of a second by his teammate at EuroInternational, Ricardo Favoretto.

Quebeckor Maxime Pelletier will start the race in 6th place, followed by the other Quebeckor in the serie, rookie Mikael Grenier, in 7th place.

The four Apex-HBR Racing Team's driver registered similar times during qualification. They will be aligned from 5th (Alexandre Ruiz) to 8th (Jorge Goncalvez) position on the grid, Pelletier and Grenier being 6th and 7th.

Today's qualifying lap was 1,5 second faster than yesterday's best practice time, also registered by Alexander Rossi.
