Forsythe Racing is about to unveil its plans for the 2009 season. The team is set to compete in two different series, but also to drop the Formula Atlantic Championship.

According to serious talks, Forsythe Racing is about to finalise IRL IndyCar Series and American Le Mans Series programmes for 2009.

The American team has remained active in the Atlantic Series this year after deciding that they had insufficient funding to join the merged IndyCar Series from Champ Car, but recently revealed that it will join the Indy Lights championship next season.

Team manager Ken Sweick said on Mid-Ohio "I'd say the ALMS and IndyCar programmes are about 95 percent done."
