Hit. The tiniest Everest-sized hit ever! Every time I walked near the Mini booth, I'd do a B-line just for a glimpse of the crazy little concoction. This thing is small and super lightweight; a theme that reverberated throughout the show but nowhere (or nearly) as well interpreted as here. But not boring. The dual-hinged doors, the funky two-piece hatch with its top part hinged in the middle to allow a wider and taller opening and its drawer-like trunk make it all fun and functional. Apparently, a mini-Mini is expected by 2015 or 2016. This could be it!

6- Toyota FT 86 Concept II

Hit and Miss. Bring it already so we can taste this forbidden Toyota-Subaru fruit. Then again, every manufacturer wants to build some hype around their future products; Toyota needs it anyhow. The Concept II, as opposed to the 2-year old Concept “I”, has a more aggressive stance thanks to its wider rear end and plenty more attitude with its fanged front end and LFA-inspired rear lights. As shown on the rotating turntable, the blacker than black on black car and horrible lighting made it difficult to take good pictures but it did continue to shroud the car in mystery. It still will be rear-drive, use a flat-4 Boxer engine and get a 6-speed manual 'box.
