3- Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
Hit. Massive hit. Although it's not a reinvented Lambo flagship car, it hits all the right markers. Some have actually complained about this fact. I say: bullocks! The Aventador is essentially a stretched Sesto Elemento, as seen in Paris last fall. The all-new 700-hp, 6.5-litre V12 is joined by an equally new Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) transmission which fires power to all four wheels. What is most amazing to me is how the Murciélago just got old. Really old. In fact, I don't even remember what it looks like...
4- Infiniti Etherea
Miss. Especially after having taken a closer look at the Ellure concept at last month's Toronto Auto Show (presented in L.A. Last November). The Etherea gives off the impression that it's trying to hide the fact that it's a hatchback. The name can only be properly pronounced by buck-tooth sporting lads and galls. The proportions are off and the front end is neither pleasing, alluring or good-looking. It's also a hybrid, which demonstrates Nissan's dedication to the technology. Speaking of Nissan, they had a brilliant little concept called the Esflow. That one deserves real attention.
