Giugiaro Celebrates 50 Years of Automobile Design with Ferrari GG50

To keep the uniqueness and individuality of the GG50 as special as a one-off vehicle should be, ItalDesign reworked the 612 interior around the new car's redesigned exterior, and to its owner's desire. The GG50 features a new dashboard with an integrated Pioneer AVIC-X1R navigation system, refined leather trim on the seats and door panels, a larger glove box, and numerous new storage pockets. Accent trim in the beige-themed interior is natural beech wood, as opposed to aluminum or carbon fibre.

For a design studio, putting pen to paper in creating a new vehicle is a daily exercise, but to build a completely operational vehicle is far less common. A car such as this - a personal interpretation of a grand touring Ferrari springing from the imagination of one of the world's design masters for his own individual use - is a special event worthy of significant attention.
