"Both models feature integrated wheel flares that add to their strong, aggressive appearance," White added, and "Big Dooley models feature stylish one-piece composite rear fenders that reduce weight while adding durability.
Finally, a new headlamp system for the heavy duty pickups gives them a different look and also offers an effective illumination range of 400 feet.
Inside, all the features and comfort of the current, lighter trucks carry into the Heavy Duty models.
"Drivers have a comfortable command of all controls with easily readable instrument panel displays, plus the Message Center, which monitors and informs on 18 vehicle operations," White said. "There's also the GM-exclusive transmission fluid temperature gauge that monitors this vital function, especially important for heavy duty towing."
And GM's OnStar system is also now available on the 2500HD/3500 Series, White said, "putting owners the touch of a button away from emergency assistance or directions."
