Clearly, the Big Three is kneeing before the next President, Barack Obama, who won't be sworn in until January. They are pleading for financial aid to get them through the crisis, or else they may be forced to shut down and put millions of people out of work.

Curiously, in Canada, the portrait isn't the same at all. For the month of October, GM reported a sales drop of 6.4% compared to the same period last year, while Ford's sales are down 10.3%. Chrysler actually saw a 2.1% increase in sales. The financial crisis hasn't affected our country yet, but it might in the near future if the U.S. government doesn't step in to help.
