Once you get the hang of it, the ELX can fold or unfold in 25 seconds, and measures just 26 x 30 x 15 inches (66 x 76 x 38 cm). Unlike other foldable bikes, the ELX doesn't have a central hinge, which weakens the rigidity of the frame. It can fit in the back of a Smart.
The frame and forks are made from aluminum, so the 8-speed bike is lightweight and won't rust. The bike weighs about 28 lbs (12.5 kg), and it's got 20-wheels, front and rear disc brakes and a full suspension setup including a rear adjustable preload. It's a one-size-fits-all bike that can suit men or women that weigh up to 245 lbs (110 kg).
Five colors are available: Orange, Blue, Green, Lumi Blue and Anthracite. The GoBike is delivered fully assembled and comes with its own custom-fit travel case on wheels with pull handles.
