Canadian Cancer Society Takes Home All Proceeds

General Motors of Canada announced that it will auction a new SSR on eBay.ca Motors, with 100 percent of the proceeds going, going, gone to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The truck boasts impressive V8 power and sports car handling dynamics, combined with a slick, retractable hardtop roof for open air motoring. The SSR will be limited in sales for the first year, making the opportunity to own one even more enticing.

"The Chevy SSR is a truly innovative vehicle and we wanted to bring it to the Canadian market in a unique way," commented Jennifer Dawkins, director of advertising for GM of Canada. "As a bonus, the auction also gives one Canadian the chance to be a cancer-fighting hero by helping a great cause. The donation of the first SSR continues GM's longstanding relationship with cancer-related causes."
