Other highlights of the three-day event will be the 7th annual Cartier "Style et Luxe," Goodwood's classic automobile design competition, a reunion of CanAm Porsches, a look back at 90 years of the Monte Carlo rally, and a "mouth-watering" collection of Ferraris to mark the 50th anniversary of their first ever Grand Prix win.
Widdows says that Alfa Romeo, BMW, General Motors, Honda, Porsche and Renault are all bringing a big selection of rarities from their museums and, as ever, "around 25 cars will be flown in by Lufthansa Cargo from America promising an unprecedented collection of TransAm and NASCAR cars too."
