Google Maps uses dromedary to take pictures

As part of its effort to allow Internet users to visit some of the most remote places on Earth, Google recently used a dromedary to take pictures in the desert of Liwa, U.A.E.

According to, Google's Trekker system was fitted onto the back of the animal, which then trotted across the vast dunes along with a Bedouin.

Excited to explore the desert, yet?
