Romain Grosjean has won the first of two races in Imola, and moved up in the championship lead before the last round of the season, which will be presented on Sunday.
Grosjean, who started from pole position, kept his lead at the start, and eventually clinched victory at the end of the race, 15 seconds ahead of his main rival, Giedo Van der Garde.
Bianchi, who ran in 5th position in the early laps, finally grabbed third place behind the Dutch driver. The Frenchman, who was leading the provisional standing before Imola, dropped down to 2nd, five points behind Grojean.
Grosjean get closer to a second GP2 Asia title (he was crown in 2008), as only the top-6 will score points in the sprint race, with only six points going to the winner.
