James Calado had a quiet day as he won race 2 at Hockenheim, but leading from lights to flag after he started from pole position.
The Brit inherited the pole after he secured 8th position on Saturday, according to the top 8 reversed grid regulation. The Lotus driver concluded the race almost eight seconds ahead of Giedo Van der Garde, as Felipe Nasr took third place.
Davide Valsecchi took 7th place, and now stands ten points behind championship leader Luiz Razia, who had a disapointing 12th position after he span and dropped down to the back of the field in the first lap. An incident that also involved Tom Dillmann and Max Chilton, who had a contact and retired as they tried to avoid the brasilian’s car.
