Frenchman Adrien Tambay took win in race 2 at Spa after he started from 27th position, with a very risky tire strategy.

As the rain appeared at mid-race, all the drivers went into the pits to put rain tires, excepted Adrien Tambay who decided to stay on track with slick tires. Tambay moved up in first position, with a lead of 10 seconds.
Nico Muller, with slick tires, quickly caught Tambay but, as the track was drying, the race leader was able to defend his position with his slick tires. Alexander Rossi moved up to second, and put pressure on Tambay, but he could not find a way pass, and Tambay won the race.

Adrien Tambay, son of former F1 driver Patrick Tambay, clinched his first GP3 victory with team Manor. He already took victory in Auto GP in may, at Imola.

The Canadian drivers were not so lucky on Sunday. Robert Wickens, who won race 1 on Saturday, could not do better than a 11th position in second round. But the driver from Toronto is still in the chase for the championship, as Gutierrez only secured 7th position. Daniel Morad took 14th place finish.
