The No. 30 Racers Edge Motorsports car of Todd Lamb and Jordan Taylor will be on track in Barber Motorsports despite the fire that caught in the cockpit in pit road during Homestead’s event.
The fire, caused by a cracked exhaust pipe, only burned a very minor portion of the cage were the heat from the pipe burned the isolation.
Team manager Jon Mirachi says there is really “only a few hundreds of dollars” worth of reparations in changing the burned down piece of metal and the pipe. Therefore, the car will be the same in Barber as it was in Homestead!
