Teams WRT and Reiter will run, respectively, two Audi R8 LMSs and two Lamborghini Gallardoa in the FIA GT1 World Championship this year.
Frank Stippler, Oliver Jarvis (former DTM driver), Stephane Ortelli and former F3 Euroseries driver Laurens Vanthoor will drive the German GT cars, while the Lamborghini drivers are yet not known. Howver, Peter Kox is likely to stay with Reiter Engineering.
The two makes join McLaren (Hexis Racing), Mercedes (All.inkl.com), BMW (Vita4One Racing), Nissan (JR Motorsport) and Ferrari (AF Corse) for the new version of the FIA GT World Championship, in which the GT3 cars will replace the GT1 machinery this season.
The opening round of the revamped series will be held April 9 in Nogaro, France.
