While the qualifying race was ran in wet conditions, the main race was staged on a dry track.

Stephane Ortelli and Laurens Vanthoor started the race from pole position after their victory in the qualifying race. They remained in the lead until the pit stops when the sister car driven by Oliver Jarvis emerged in the lead, with Vanthoor in hot pursuit.

After several attempts, Vanthoor was able to pass Jarvis for the lead, and claimed victory ahead of his teammate, scoring another 1-2 sweep for Audi.

They finished the race in front of the Munnich All Inkl’s Mercedes SLSs, with Basseng/Winkelhock taking third place ahead of Pastorelli/Jager. It was a disappointing weekend for Toni Vilander and Filipe Salaquadra’s AF Corse Ferrari F458, quickest in the timed session, but only 6th in the main race.
