Frédéric Makowiecki and Thomas Accary’s Hexis Aston Martin DBR9 took first position in qualifying race at Silverstone, second round of the world championship.

After they dominated the opening rounds in Abu Dhabi, Ford GT and Corvette stuggled at Silverstone after weight adjustments. In the same time, Aston Martin were 50 kgs lighters than in Abu Dhabi, and set the pace in England.
