GT1: Romain Grosjean and Thomas Mutsch take second Championship win for Ford at Brno

Thomas Mutsch and Romain Grosjean clinched their second wins at Brno this week-end.

The pair crossed the line in first position in Round 3 of the FIA GT1 World Championship. The #7 AMR Aston Martin DB9 of Darren Turner and Czech driver Tomas Enge is second. The #23 Sumo Power GT Nissan GT-R of Peter Dumbreck and Michael Krumm finishes on the podium. At the finish, just 1.7 seconds covered the top five cars in an intensely-fought race. 

On Saturday, the #1 Vitaphone Racing Team Maserati MC12 of Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini won the qualifying race. The dominating Maserati MC12 went from pole position to chequered flag, crossing the line with 4.5 seconds ahead of the #7 Young Driver Aston Martin of Tomas Enge. The final podium position was filled by the #23 Sumo Power GT Nissan GT-R of Peter Dumbreck and Michael Krumm.
