GT1 World: Hexis Racing Aston Martin Hexis clinches victory at Sachsenring

The Hexis Racing Aston Martin Hexis driven by Christian Hohenadel and Andrea Piccini took victory in main race of the GT1 World series held at Sachsenring.

It was a great performance for Hohenadel and Piccini, who had to start from the back of the grid for qualifying race after Piccini crashed out the Aston Martin during the session. They were able to move up to 5th at the end of qualifying race, won by Makowiecki and Martin’s Ford GT VDS.

In main race, Hohenadel had a great start and was able to take second position at the first corner, benefitting from the melee. Then the German powered to the lead, and Piccini concluded the race in front to take win.

This victory means Hohenadel and Piccini are the new points’ leader.
